Photos of the Symposium Event
On November 15th and 16th, together with the museum and Center for Humanistic Studies and the Smithsonian Latino Center, we conducted the Symposium ' Dialogues on the Puerto Rican and Caribbean diaspora. We were visited by specialists from the Dominican Republic, the Virgin Islands, Hawaii, the Philippines, the United States and Puerto Rico. Dr. Jennet Rodríguez and Dr. Philip Murray of our English department, as well as Dr. Carmen Ruiz Fischler of MCEH, and Alma Douglas of the Smithsonian Affiliations, were in charge of coordinating the activity.
